Abbie Seifert, MEd., NCC
Counseling Intern
I like to think of life as a practice. We’re all practicing ways of thinking, relating, and responding to the world around us, sometimes with intention and sometimes by default. Therapy offers an opportunity to better understand those patterns and cultivate ones that support greater ease, resilience, and fulfillment.
Through more than two decades of work supporting individuals, families, and communities in educational and counseling settings, I’ve seen how life’s challenges can shape a person’s sense of self in ways that feel isolating and difficult to name. This is especially true when there’s a gap between the life we imagined and the life we’re living, or when internal experiences feel overwhelming and hard to make sense of.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, prioritizing authenticity, collaboration, and meaningful connection. I help adolescents and adults deepen self-awareness and relate more skillfully to thoughts, feelings, and experiences, particularly during times of transition, grief, trauma, uncertainty, or disconnection. Together, we move toward healing, growth, and a stronger sense of meaning. I welcome the chance to explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
