Dr. Elizabeth Mikolajczyk, BCBA, ABSNP, NCSP, CT

Licensed Psychologist, Certified Thanatologist

“I love helping people learn more about themselves, so therapy and teaching are incredibly fulfilling for me. I’m a school psychologist and I enjoy helping children, but I also focus on Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, which allows me to effectively help children and youth build resiliency.”

I love working at the Center for Grief and Trauma Therapy because I believe in our vision, which is to have each clinician specializing in a particular area. I’m a full-time school psychologist, a board-certified behavior analyst, and a diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychology. I have diverse clinical experience in a range of settings, from assessments for children with educational concerns to long-term therapy for adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, and stress. I’ve also helped parents who are looking for techniques they can use to improve their child’s behavior.

My style is transparent, direct, and compassionate. I’m dedicated to helping clients find solutions to the issues that are troubling them. I have particular expertise in treating children and adolescents through substantial trauma and my doctoral dissertation focused on training programs for Trauma-Informed Schools. I enjoy helping young people make progress towards their goals.
