Chris Warren, LPCMH

Licensed Professional Counselor

As a counselor, I’m developing a specialty in supporting survivors of suicide loss. My personal experience initially inspired my work in grief and trauma therapy, which has evolved into a focus on traumatic bereavement, particularly suicide loss. I also serve as board president for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – Delaware Chapter, as part of my commitment to ending the stigma surrounding suicide.

In addition to this focus, I work with clients navigating depression, anxiety, and life transitions—whether connected to grief, trauma, or other challenges.

With over a decade of experience as a high school and college running coach, I especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults, though I’ve worked with individuals of all ages. My approach is collaborative, holistic, and person-centered, emphasizing the expertise each individual holds in their own story. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen as people first—where we can pursue meaningful goals while honoring life’s complexities without judgment. Helping others discover their own courage to face what once felt impossible is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
