“There is always something new to learn, and I enjoy expanding my knowledge. I look forward to the ways in which my time at the Center will help me in the future.”
I joined the Center for Grief and Trauma Therapy because I wanted to learn more about a specific field of Psychology. As a current undergraduate student majoring in Psychology, working at the Center provides me with more in-depth information in relation to death, loss, and grief, and the ways in which people can be helped. Grief is not the same for everybody, and working at the Center has shown me important it is for people to get the help that they need.
As an athlete, Sports Psychology has always been something I have been interested in. Working at the Center has showed me how many aspects of Psychology can be linked together. It has allowed me to become more open-minded and surrounded me with a supportive group of clinicians who are specialists in this field.
