Marcus Scarfo, MA, NCC
Counselor & Art Therapist
“My favorite things about helping clients are listening to their stories and being about to witness their growth throughout the therapeutic process as they gain insight into their lives.”
I joined the Center for Grief and Trauma Therapy because I’m passionate about helping people heal. The creative process can help you make meaning of your experiences, while promoting calming, stress-reduction, release of energy, conflict resolution, increased self-awareness, and more. Art therapy allows these benefits to come into effect more quickly than through talking along.
Working here gives me the opportunity to take wellness into account. My specialist knowledge and application of the healing properties of art and the creative process can help people who are struggling with grief and trauma as well as depression, anxiety, and the stress of daily life. I create a safe, judgement-free space to dive into your story and pursue personal growth.
