Jessica Williams, MSS, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

“One of the best moments for me as a therapist is when my client has a ‘lightbulb moment.’ It could be a revelation, a tying together of things they have been feeling for years, or something that seems small but is very important to them. I like talking to people and hearing their stories.”

I came to the Center for Grief and Trauma Therapy after working in hospice for five years. I really began to learn more about how grief affects people in so many different ways. I wanted to try private practice and this role seemed so ‘me.’ I bring in new ideas, experience with youth and young adult suicide assessment and prevention, as well as work with young people experiencing trauma.

Grief and loss are experiences we all share. Sometimes, we need help processing it so we can move forward. I work side-by-side with my clients and take a unique and integrative approach that means we can effectively work as teammates. I can hold a space for your heaviest thoughts and emotions so we can we can work towards achieving your goals together. Everyone has the ability to heal.
